Data Deletion Request

1. What this covers

Sopifo is a marketplace platform. If you created an account, placed orders, ran a shop, or connected a Facebook Page, we may hold account, order, shop, and (where connected) Meta-related tokens or metrics needed to operate those features.

Independent sellers may also hold buyer details they collected outside Sopifo (for example WhatsApp). Contact that seller separately for data they store on their own systems.

2. How to request deletion

Email support@sopifo.com from the email address registered on your Sopifo account.

Use the subject line: Data deletion request.

Include: (1) your full name, (2) the email and phone on your account, (3) your shop name or slug if you are a seller, and (4) a short note that you want your Sopifo personal data deleted.

If you signed in with Facebook or connected a Facebook Page, say so in the email so we can revoke related tokens and disconnect Meta access where applicable.

3. What we do after your request

We will verify that the request comes from the account holder (we may ask a confirming reply from your registered email).

We aim to complete deletion or anonymisation of personal account data within 30 days of verification, unless a shorter period is required by applicable law.

We will email you when the request is completed, or if we need more information.

4. What may be retained

We may retain limited records where Bangladesh law, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution requires it (for example completed order invoices). Those records are kept only as long as needed for those purposes and are not used for marketing.

Deleting your Sopifo account does not automatically delete content you posted on Facebook itself — manage that in your Facebook settings.
